Goatskinner, I began to pull away from God not too long ago myself. I began to believe a lot of the statements your are currently quoting. In today's difficult times, it is easy to quit, to not believe, to doubt God. I recently called out to The Lord in my time of trouble and asked him to please renew my faith. He has, He truly has! It's okay to feel as you do. Just know that no matter how hard you try to keep your heart closed, God can open it. I'm proof that He can... and He will.

If a God discriminates people according to their club membership and not because of deeds, if a God threaten people with wrath if they don't comply to a particular belief, doesn't it seem fascist and childish?
