Ha ha ha, the funny thing is that my acting really does suck - without Jed's direction, that is. I actually think that I'm the one that's lucky! I mean, how many actors are lucky enough to have such a talented writer/director creating material this funny for them to star in? What you guys don't get to see is all of the crappy takes that we have to go through before Jed finally manages to get the performance out of me that makes it work...

I agree. The idea that Mona's "acting sucks" appears frequently in posts. But people should realise that she is doing a send up, hamming it up, overacting....take your pick of terms. Its mean to be "bad acting" where the scene calls for a send up/portrayal of something to do with our cultural hangups and issues. I just wonder where peoples sense of humor/fun goes sometimes. I always thought the cool girls in life were the ones who were pretty and could have fun and laugh at themselves.
