I am so disgusted with the audience. Were they listening???? I know his monologue is typically hysterical which is why I love his show but was anyone in the room listening to what he was saying? THanks so much for posting this vid for us to see - Michael J. Fox was always my favorite actor - "Secret of My Success" is my all-time favorite movie and "Family Ties" is my favorite t.v. show. After Fox announced he had Parkinson's, it was only a few years later that I found out my mother had it, too - she died September 23, 2008 - she taught me so much about life - and she gave me so much strength, determination, courage, and hope in life - just by watching her embrace and endure Parkinson's

I'm all in favour of adult stem cell research. Like Michael says, the outcry should have started back when in-vitro fertilization resulted in embryos being discarded when they weren't needed for implanting, and implanted embryos being 'culled' because they typically implant way more than a human female can actually carry to term. Stop obsessing over having a biological child and adopt one that desperately needs a home. And focus research on adult stem cells.

yes - there were progressives/liberals in the Republican party at times who helped end slavery, considered the environment and fought for civil rights. They left. When that party started to only give lip service and then no longer effectively supported these policies to the point now where it actively fights against them, it no longer became a home for progressive change.
