Kiss is a joke. Their music is so overrated.

Kiss? Please, Kiss was comprised of schlock musicians with a gimmick Alice Cooper fasioned for them. "Rock and Roll all Night", "Beth", and the disco sellout " I was Made for Loving You". Garbage. One song, " Detroit Rock City" redeemed Kiss as real musicians for me a little. But they don't hold a candle to the visceral and musically dynamic creations of Thin Lizzie. Kiss and Lizzie compare like cotton candy and prime rib. Depends on how easily satisfied you are. Make-up not withstanding.

How in bloody hell can this sound like kiss? Kiss is possibly the single most overrated band ever, any group that can not come up with a new lyric to save their life is not a band. This is a classic!

bullshit. I'm a big fan of both bands, and they are not trying to be like each other and they don't sound like each other either. Lizzy was formed in 1969 and Kiss in early 1973.

I saw this song on BBC Crown Jewels, now I absolutely love this band!

Hmm...The Who did some good stuff, but I don't think Townsend would claim to be a guitar virtuoso. Great songwriter though, I agree. I would add that Thin Lizzy were mainly Anglo-Irish. Only Gorham, to my knowledge, was American.
