all the merbabies are identical- whats up with that?! oh well- still cute!!! The little hippocampi are sooo cute!! OMG- did anyone catch the two sambo starfish- they had the big red lips? Back in that time white people would dress up in "blackface" and act what they saw as a stereotypical black person- for entertainment. They were often shown as being stupid- like when they tried to make the mule jump the hoop. That would have been a pop culture reference in this cartoon back then. Creepy.

This is great seeing this. I first came to Disney 1984 and I was baby then with pictures in stroller, and although I don't remember much from then, I still see the pictures, and it looks closer to this than now. I remember 20 leagues under the sea, but do not remember Mickey Mouse Revue. When was that taken out of the Magic Kingdom? I am from S Fl. (about 2.5 hours away from the WDW), but the rest of the state grew with Disney!! I also went one week after 9/11 too, and was as empty as 1972.

Well chaingang, it all depends. They really are the same just disney world has more like united kingdom and water parks. Also in some of the rides, disney world has added more things. For example, if you look up the haunted mansion at both parks they have differences. Have fun where ever you choose to go to! :D

Another one of my favorite Disney Cartoons. I still have the book by Virgina Lee Burton. I like the way Holloway uses his close to Winnine the Pooh voice when narrating these stories just to let you know that its the same person. These guys are true patriots. Agreed with most of what they said but, sorry, when they afirm that Israel's intention in fighting Hezbolah was to punish the Lebanese in general I think this is a quite suspicious simplification. If this is how they explain Israels bombing of infra-structure then they are clearly biased. This is a maliciously simplistic explanation. It was war against militia that was based in civil areas and exclusvely used civil infrastructure like buildings, roads and bridges. Let us criticise with fairness.

Walt wanted to build his community in central Florida, part of which would have been underground. Florida is too close to sea level to displace all that land (the other parks, like Magic Kingdom, are built up with the dirt from the lakes & lagoons dug around them)and the idea had to be changed into a park that was dedicated to the people of the world and to what amazing things we were capable of in the future as people of Earth. Walt wanted a park devoted to the future. look at epcot, look at every Disneyland around the world. Epcot had very good potential for being devoted to the future. i think they should build a hotel designed like the main bulding of his version of Epcot, and to have all the futuristic utilities. a park like the original EPCOT would make Walt proud. even tho Walt has passed, he never ceases to plan for Disney.

Ambitious but not well thought out. A wheel based city is awful for everyone. Too dense in the center, but people on the outskirts are way too far away from anything interesting. A well planed city should have several unique hubs to accomodate those in all areas of the community. A good public transportation system is key, but the WEDway would be too slow for practical day-to-day use. The car tunnels would be overpolluted and depressing. I like that he tried though, most people are so boring.

You're right. The channel used to show vintage Disney during the night. One show I liked was called "Early Mickey." The program showed mostly Mickey Mouse cartoons from l928-l933. So we got a view of Mickey before he "met" Donald Duck in l934. I remember when the channel purged it's programming of vintage Disney shows so it could totally focus on the "Generation Z" crowd(i.e. "Raven "& "Hannah Montana" fans).
