I just had to say something here. You're right, Jesus didn't claim to start a new religion. He came as a fulfillment to Judaism as Messiah. The thing was, he was rejected by the Jes and his followers became known as Christianos (as a mocking term) less than 20 years after Jesus arose. The name stuck with followers of "The Way" as the Jews called it up until then. They were then called forever more: Christians. No hard feelings. I like to talk about this kind of thing. I did a research project on these guys for history, and I think they played a major role in the outcome of the war. I mean, without them we wouldn't have been able to communicate in a language that the Japanese couldn't understand. Plus, they were out there fighting battles as well. They deserve more respect then they get, and even still today I don't think many people give them recognition or know about them.

I am a Navajo but i also like to look at the whole aspect about the code talkers, they hated the fact they weren't recognized at the end of the war, BUT! If you really think about it, Our Tribes language, or possibly others were for back up in case of another war outbreak. I mean if they revealed the country's secret success wouldn't all Native Americans be n trouble while freely traveling? i agree that it did take them awhile to recognize them, but better late than too late or never. my grandmoter and her sister tought on the Navajo reservation they tought the deaf and blind. they have both passed but i do have a Navajo blanket that is grey tan black and white with no dyes this was a thank you from the families of the children they tought.
