This video always reminds me of summer in grade school. It's sunny and hot, and there's no worries. Just flake out, watch the world, and think. The momentum of a new day is interesting. You leave the house, run into a friend, they feel the same vibe without explaining it. You both shag off for a bit, and run into another friend. They drop what they are doing and come along. Pretty soon you have 5-6 people all lazing around doing squat and loving every minute of the peace and quiet.

He's singing in falsetto, he means to sound that way. The Bee Gees might be the most famous modern example of falsetto singing.
