Go ask those who were near him (Fela), everybody knew he had skin disease (secondary to aids) and he scratches incessantly. I once swa this on T.V., Nigerian magazines etc. I wasn't just told, I saw it real. he tried using traditional herbs to 'cure' his skin condition but to no avail, the disease continued, sending him into a coma, and being rushed to an hospital (around late 1997). He died in that hospital. His brother will not have to lie on him what killed him. he was medically literate.
