and for those who don't know, that specific fish between 55 seconds and 1:12 is a frilled shark, I believe that this specific footage is from the one they had in an aquarium in Japan a while back. Its a shark that was thought to be extinct, yet lo and behold, they're still swimming around :)

Besides, just because he doesn't have a special voice doesn't mean he's not a good singer. I know does albums, but they are on the more Metal edge, Overture 1928/Strange Deja Vu is more Hard Rock energy. I'm not saying it's their heaviest stuff, but it's one of their most rocking song.

yeah, I always thought the Rod Evans era was pretty lame, no offense to those that liked that era, but it always reminded me of a cheap Beatles rip-off for some reason, i think they really reached their potential with Gillan and Glover, although Blackmore, Paice and Lord were always amazing, I though Simper and Evans were lame though. Coverdale and Hughes were great too, but it just wasn't Deep Purple. Hughes remains to be one of my favorite singers though, I love Burn and Stormbringer songs.
