Is it hard to play or not? It gets much easier if you practice for 30 years. I am tuned to an open D. You should learn to play in standard tuning first. Nothing truly worth while is easy but at the same time this is not complicated. Basically I can't really answer since it will be different for everyone. I practiced allot.

She won the Macy's contest search for Annie and toured the country but didn't "make it." So she has every right to be on American Idol, another contest!
