Turning his back on everything he believed and stood for, was probably more revolutionary than holding on to hippie values, whatever that is supposed to mean. It's great to be part of movements, but it's even better to be an individual. Yes, I am against capitalism and I don't think that every hippie grows away from their ideals. That's irrelevant: A pardon has never been an issue: A so-called "innocent" Carter's NON-EXISTENT fight for a reversal/expungement is the issue. Every shred of -real- evidence, (forget the movie, forget the song, for God sake, they are fiction), points to his guilt. (Please look at the evidence, it is so easy to find.) For those who want to really know/look a little further/dig a little deeper: Every primary piece of evidence still points to Carter's guilt. Not an accusation, a guilty verdict, & never exonerated: Carter hasn't pursued reversal or expungement of his guilty verdict. Perhaps we disagree, but this is what full exoneration means to me. Virtually a re-trial, it could result in an actual re-trial, & his possibly gong back inside. I understand strong emotions weigh in this, but I've read pages of evidence against him & considering the good life he has now, I believe he'll never risk seeking a "not guilty" verdict.

Absolutely best metal album ever created.1st Garage days, although just fuckin about being hardcore ruled also(you could hear the bass on these realeases) Justice dissapointed - the drums were spliced together then total studio overdub album(lost the core sightly) But then wot the fuck happened after that? What clawfish is trying to say here is that, in '64, Rubin (maybe jokingly) suggested to his friend that they go to where riots were occurring and shoot some police. He said that he thought he could get four or five before they got him. This was printed in the Saturday Evening Post. Clawfish's syntax might be poor but he's writing the truth.

You are right AlliedRecords. Carter is and was a liar. He was sent to reformatory for assault and robbery shortly after his fourteenth birthday (1951). He escaped from the reformatory in 1954 and joined the army but was discharged after four court martials for repeated insubordination and going AWOL. He was locked up again for ten months for escaping from the reformatory, and on release went to prison for a series of street muggings including the assault and robbery of a middle aged black woman.
