i understand what u mean but even if it was solid cardio it was only 15 minutes so the calorie burn for a woman would be 100 ( if she was running fast for 15 minutes) but she's not, so i took into consideration the lunges ect. and rounded down to 80. btw i cant believe we're arguing over calorie burn so i'm sorry.

Strength training is great for weight loss. Muscle burns more calories than strength (when resting) and the 80ish calories it burns while actually doing it doesnt count the calories burned afterwords. This doesnt really count as strength training though, if you did everything constantly throughout the whole workout it would keep your heart rate up. Its much more cardio than strength training.

Seeing that other people are able to lose such a large amount of weight is an inspiration to me. My New Year's Resolution for 2008 was to lose weight. So, from January to October, I went from 245 lbs to 235 lbs. Not enough! So, I started Weight Watchers October 27, and I've lost 10 lbs in the last 22 days. I'd like to get to 190 lbs or less.
