Im a pageant kid and I love them, Ive been din them since i was 2. yea u have to wear make up and get tanned but they are fun. I didnt like them when i was about 8 and my mum forced me to do them, but i do it volentaraly now. If u want to do it then they r gud if yur forced its bad.

I feel that the moms in all of the pageants ive expienced, and this video are portraying a bad role model for their children, they should let their children choose what they would like to do. Plus, all of the make-up and tanning they are doing will eventually ruin their faces and skin. Tanning, either spray on, salon, or sun tanning, can eventually lead to skin cancer. These mothers are putting their daughters at risk, and ruining their natural beauty for the future. 2 year olds are forced.

I think they're bad for children. Its mostly about the moms anyway(they didn't make it as beauty queens and now want their daughters to be), and its a lot pressure on the girls to be...well, perfect. Being all painted up and parading around in bikinis and dresses-1:says "Pedophile Heaven" & 2: Teaches the girls they have to be beautiful to be the best and shit like that. Those type of thoughts could fuck them up in the long run. Adults sure, but its not the right setting for little girls.

I'm going to be 17 soon and i just started entering myself in pageants. My mom never allowed me to when i was young. She thinks they are degrading. I disagree completely. I think they are huge confidence boosters, provide a way to express what you are passionate about, and a great way to help make the world better. Starting young sets them out for the rest of their lives. When I have a daughter, I will be entering her in as many as I can :]

it depends wat type of beauty pageants u want to do. if u want to do a natural one then idk where they r. my lilttle sister dose the whole glitz thing. they most popular ones r internetional total miss and that site has a huge page for links and that could help u. then there is sunburst and faboulous faces that can help u. cuz they have links to. Good luck in yer pageants. i suggest Yammi dresses and clothes.

ok... i'm a pageant girl. i loved them when i was a kid. and it's not 'sick" like some of you have said. my little cousin does them and LOVES them. she loves her dress, the make-up, her fake hair, and her fake eyelashes, and so did i. but now I'm 17 and my mama still makes me do them. I think you should see if it's something your child wants to do and if she does then fine, but as soon as she starts hating them, take her out... i'm a forced pageant girl now.

Little beauties? I would say "little averages" with tons of makeup, teased up hair to the ceiling and Las Vegas outfits is more like it. I'm not seeing any real beauty here.
