This video is an emotional ride for me. His voice and his feeling of passion is so clear when he sings. I am so glad that through YouTube I was able to hear him. I now have his cds and listen to him frequently. And I never liked opera before. He is truly magnificent in my book. Not only for his voice, but for his passion. WOW!!!

Yes, I like Bocelli, but with Sarah Brightman, prefer Paul singing solo. I hope there people who are coming on here saying he is not an opera singer have like so many commented, been to see him LIVE. Bocelli has been singing on a professional level, many, many years, one has started on the road, another has journeyed far, so are you many opera community who seem at this moment in time hovering over this site going to let him get a few years of training in?, I think not.

Yes well mountainsofmontana. Paul is not *opera* singer, but he might be best hope for Opera itself, like Brightman and Bocelli are as well, they bring ´Opera´ to masses. But that does not make them Opera singers yet. Bocelli gets very close tho, some times hes even able to perform on same level with the best opera singers. I like bocelli.

A top classical magazine a year ago, I think it was Classical FM but thats out of top of my head said of Paul Potts on front page. PAUL POTTS BEST HOPE FOR OPERA. Then inside it read, Paul Potts on the scene has many people interested in opera that was never before. Do the opera folks want to keep it a clique. Never mind we ignorant masses can listen to Pauls amazing classical CD instead of some of the awful noises I have heard come out of opera.

Correction, I said most I've heard professional, I meant the BEST, I've heard, and heard them all. An opera critic from Vienna Opera House said, Paul Potts the best raw talent he had heard, but because he has not been through La Scala Colleges type training and opera elite are trained to hear technically, the opera elite find it hard to accept. Paul is now almost technically perfect. Little training gone along way.

Paul Potts has just done a record 103 classical concerts worldwide lasting over two hours. In Koln, eleven thousand people scremed encore until he walked off stage. Paul reached those high Cs everytime, and he sounded better than most I've heard professional, who have most likely done years in academies. Pauls classical CD has sold over 5 million copies, and this is when he was amatuer, still selling phones. Opera sales have rocketed after Paul came on scene, but of course just coincidence.

Well we have different opinions. But the fact is in the Classical music community Paul Potts is seen as an older, male Charlotte Church, a hack. As a pop singer,t is maybe he's ok. Your opinion is "we'll it sounds great to me" and that is fine, but there is a lot more to opera and classical music than singing on key. If he's going to claim to be an opera singer than he will be judged by classical music standards.

Paul walked on stage and everyone was looking down their noses at him, then he sang, and in minutes the whole world stood up and cheered. I would love to hear Pavarotti sing this while working long hours as a phone salesmen and not doing any singing for years.

I am "Blown Away" every time I hear Paul sing this song. When I need a lift I watch this and it sends chills down my spine every time, and by the time he is finished my hands are raised in the air and I am praising in awe...Paul, you are just as amazing the 100th time I hear you sing this as the first time!
