No, it happened because the spartan had very bad network lag, the exact same thing happens to me whenever I've got a lot of people online at once at my house. It really sucks because you lag for the whole game, taking damage from absolutely nowhere, when you shoot at someone your really just shooting at a blank wall, and whenever the game fixes itself, your team is usually down by about twenty points with two minutes to go. It hurts your rank and the game does nothing to compensate for it.
