the thing is, all of those took from G1, took names of characters, quotes, they took a lot from G1.. and then they say they aren't trying to be like G1... and seriously, the new TF movie wasn't that great, it had some nice CGI but all the comedy they put in which amounted to nothing more than stupidity, having a good line here and there to put some humor in and add life to the characters is fine, but the jerking off scene, the dog peeing scene, the transformer peeing on the agent,lame lame lame

Mine doesn't separate when I pull the trigger. The only problem with mine is that his shoulder pieces that come together to form the back part of the gun isn't flush when he's in gun mode. No matter how hard I try, it sticks up a little bit.

I'd rather not spend $40 (even though he looks badass) on the leader Megatron, and I'd be interested in getting this to stand next to Starscream, as the battle damage one is too short. The only thing keeping me from getting Voyager Megatron is how lame his fusion cannon looks hanging off his arm. Is there any way to fix that issue, or is that it? I'd love to find a way to make that gun actually on his arm like the battle damage Megs. Then I'd get him right away.

I blame the person who created Hot Rod for making him stupid enough to run in there instead of just yelling "He's got a gun!" But seriously, as shocked as I was to see Prime go down when I was 9, he went out in a blaze of glory and if your hero is gonna fall that's the way to do it. This was the biggest moment in Transformers histroy, even Unicrons destruction at the end of the movie did not match this climatic battle.

Masterpiece Megatron, or Prime is a good bet. I love MP Megatron, which is how the G1 figure should have looked. You can also buy the silencer and stock for Megs, turning him into a custom Walther P-38, like in the G1 Cartoon.

Well, its expected a MASTERPIECE to be hard to transform as it tries to get as much closer as possible to the alternative mode and the bot mode. Its very hard to transform it w/out dettaching some pieces, but its a amazing toy though. As for leader Megs Movie, its in one of the last places of "favorites" in my collection. I actually think that this alternate mode is cooler. When he was a Pistol it was very hard for him to travel and for some reason he could fly in his robot mode. The cybertronian jet is a better form because he is now faster and deadlier like a hawk. Not to mention it make sense that he can fly now. :D

your lucky man! when I just got mega tron just from the package, it didnt came with a spring so I use a screw driver and shuved the spring in and when I was in the middle of putting things back together, the screw oddley change shape, and now the thing on its arm is so loose that a could pull it off. I just bought him primarily to complete my movie Deceps (well, except Scorponok, I count the mini one that comes with Blackout as his representation) and I'll probably regret this when I start seeing the much better looking Premium Megs on general release... Good call on the Takara vs Hasbro versions. I think the consumer really has to compare the two versions and decide which they prefer and if it's worth the price difference. I do like the Takara versions of Meg and Astro Train. Some Japanese versions just seem to have some chromed parts....meh. Transformed MP Meg once to gun and back to robot. Ruven's videos helped a lot in figuring out which parts I could apply force to without breaking.

This is one of the ones that does improve on Hasbro's enough to warrant the purchase - to me. Some will tell you Takara's are *always* better but, hey. That said, I don't mind Hasbro's really. The orange is hard to swallow, but it's cool otherwise. The hands not swiveling is definitely the worst thing about the mold. Secondly, it has no waist - which I always fucking hate I still haven't transformed my MP Megs yet, too afraid to break the thing like others have haha DICK AND BALLS 2008

Defeating starscream is very easy(last level).jst stand at the back of a large cube for protection and hit him at the back 5 times.once that has happened,pick up the allspark and use it to punch it at his back and as Megatron,gun-down starscream and transform and land on the building he lands and shoot him so do this 3 times and once defeated,you can free-roam as anyone even Megatron Himself.

i think so mate. ive heard that you can unlock him using 2500 wifi tokens, but youll need to play online. i have no idea if this is true or not, and if 2500 tokens is a really high amount (sounds like it is). hope this helps.

i actually think battle begins boxset megatron in a little better. he is pretty much the same thing as this one, just a little smaller, and the articulation is a a little bit better for the simple fact that the hinge isn't there. but i do think either voyager or battle damage megatrons looked way better than the leader class.
