Morals should have nothing to do with fear as palaeopalyguy suggests. Morals pertain to a person's ability to distinguish between right and wrong. How can someone who is agnostic not be an athiest? If you don't believe humans can possibly know whether or not God really exists, there is no way you can truely believe in God. Someone who doesn't believe in God is an athiest, it's that simple. I'd have no friends and be constantly fighting with nearly everyone at work and in my own and my children's lives if I couldn't put the political and religious differences aside and be friends with them. For the most part, we just agree to disagree, until I can't figure out stuff like the Palin thing and then I use them to explain to me what I could never figure out for myself. I asked the same question when told she was picked to rally the base. My fundie friends told me there was a serious movement to just stay home rather than vote for McCain. I have to wonder if they wouldn't have decided better McCain than letting Obama take, but not much of what the Rush Limbaugh crowd believes or does makes much sense to me so... He was wrong about her picking up Hillary voters, but he isn't known for actually understanding women. She turned off more women than men, when it came right down to it. Like who? I live in fundy-ville. They knew of Palin who decided not to abort a down's baby before any of us had ever heard of her. She's hard core pro-choice and everything else the fundies love.
