I have done this method and also dpn's for me this method takes longer, each time having to slide the stiches, pick the yarn back up and such. But I knit Continental and wonder if this is why. Very clear vid and I wish I had seen this when I was first learning this technique.

This is the second video that I have tried to use to do this technique and despite following them, my project is inside out. I am knitting every stick and should end up with stockingette stitch, but I end up with garter stitch on the outside and stockingette stitch on the inside. I have read that i can just turn it right side out later, but I don't want to do that, I would prefer to knit it right side out out. Any ideas about what I am doing wrong?

Good film. Very professional looking. One problem though. Wo is the character in the en of the film who kills the main character? Fair enought, you narate that "We take... we have to to survive" etc, but why does he have to? Even in short films you need to show the audience who characters are, otherwise the audience sits there thinking "Well hang on, who was he? Why did he do that?" Other than that, quite a good film. Fix up that and you have a very good short film. Excellnt choise of music.

Why not step away from the turntable and learn an actual instrument! This is a real problem with the laziness in todays youth. No one wants to spend years learning a musical craft, so they cut and paste and pretend they have talent!

It would only be 1 cm from the drum head when it was, but there is no way Buddy pass a speed like that with his push pull technique because it requires you to be so close to the head. One of my top 5 favorite drummers of all time. The Steve Gadd of the 60s. Joe hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves. He's the definition of feel, groove and in the pocket drumming.

JM is not about speed, JM is a melodic drummer. in the lines of jo jones, max roach. JM is about melody and technical excellence, not speed. Buddy Rich was about power, speed, precision, a very loud extroverted style. Morello is much more of a introverted type of player. more subtle, use of dynamics, melody and technique.

I'll never neglect the fact that Morello is one of the greatest drummers of time, because he was (is), but I'll have to disagree on Buddy not playing with such musical genius. Buddy Rich played with a far greater scope of musical genius in his lifetime. Its not even comparable. Its ok if you prefer him over Buddy. but Rich's "curriculum" is absolutely ridiculous. He played with the very best for his entire life. Ella, Armstrong, Art Tantum, Sinatra, etc, etc, etc...

You are correct in that no one can hang with buddy when it comes to blazing speed and chops, but, morello ain't far behind and his grove is almost Steve Gadd deep. This combination, imo, makes him the greatest ever. And I thought I would never say that anyone could surpass buddy. Part of the reason I like morello so much is that he was surrounded by absolute musical genius with the DBQ. Did buddy ever sit in with them? I would love to see that.

Oh no, thats wrong. Morello could NEVER play 13 notes per sec with his left hand alone (Buddy's standard). He would be lucky if he could reach 10 notes. You don't know what you're saying. Morello is excellent, but saying his left hand was faster than Buddy's is simply a lie.

joe morello was probably one of the most inteligent musicians ever. he wrote a lot of scores for a lost of different composers. and hes a bad ass drummer as well.
