So, you think that an Emu SP1200, a Roland TB303, SH101, TR808, Sequential Prophet, etc sound as good in software emulation compared to the real hardware? I don't. The C64 is a real hardware digital/analogue synth, not an emulation in software. It sounds so punchy and vibrant. There aint nothing that sounds like a C64. It is a truely unique-sounding instrument to have in your arsenal.

Timbaland doesn't always take whole songs, for example, take 'Sock It to Me' by Missy Elliott, all Timbo sampled was one short tune, the rest was his composition. Dre is NOT a genius musician cos all his songs are sampled, if he was a genius, he would compose music from scratch, like the people he samples from. People who sample do so cos they don't have enough talent to compose music from scratch. The only hiphop producers who compose from scratch are the Neptunes and Stargate..

To me, Dre and Timbaland suck because they samples. It's not true that Dre only takes few seconds of people's songs, there are many examples where he takes the whole song, e.g. 'Nothing but a G Thang'. Also, Dre is not as creative as Timb, his beats are average, Timb is very talented with drums and he just explores a wider range of sound than Dre. Timbaland DOESN'T always take whole songs or several measures, that's such a hard claim to justify.

well '1kingjunior1'.. there is a computer from the olden days called a Commodore 64. It has a sound chip in it which is a three channel analogue synth that is digitally controlled. Software is used on this computer to make music to sequence the three oscillators and utilise the filter, ring modulation, choose waveforms, ADSR, pulse modulations, vibrato, etc, giving you tons of control for sequencing this amazing synth on a chip inside the Commodore 64. this is an EXCELLENT chip tune, which was totally worth sampling, but TIMBALAND should have done it the RIGHT WAY! If he was gonna blatantly use it's main melody, he should have approached the artist & bought it off him. Surely, the guy would have sold 100% copyright to him for a tiny amount in comparison to how much universal music group would profited from the song. rednatsyb, it is really humrous that you would be so rude to a man like Tommy Kono. He defined American Weightlifting in the early days and did so for a long time. For you to say that stuff about a man of his stature is just crap. I havent checked lately but are you in contention for a spot on the Olympic team? I personally got a lot out of this video series. The instruction is clear, concise and very valuable.

It was obvious Ferrigno hadn't trained for that style of lifting. Even big Lou couldn't do it on muscle alone. Oldfield had muscle and technique. I was shocked to see the condition Brian Oldfield is in now. Don't know what happened to him, he's in a wheelchair and it's hard for him to talk, sounds like he's got emphysema. I love Lou, but his technique is awful and I can't beleive they're giving him those lifts!!! He never locks out at the top! In Pumping Iron, he did use 225, then 245, but those were non-locking bodybuilding reps to keep the tension on the muscle. He should have trained with an Olympic Weightlifter to learn the technique.
