metal can be metal but with different sounds, its good to keep some sub genres to make it seem of a different style. some shit like Sludge metal or Funk Metal aren't needed. No such thing or use since those bands are different. I see the Stoner metal but its sound is overall heavy metal. hard rock, well, those bands like ACDC are classic Rock, but they are still metal associated for their contribution. at least with the metal subgenres, we know its sound. Rap/hip hop fans don't know their sound.

I don't think its an actual debate I think its more speculation. I watched a documentary once about it and have read about it. Apparently we co-existed with neanderthals for a few thousand years and its possible we interbred. I think many animals have the ability to reason. A predater must reason when it is scoping its prey. Chimps must have reasoning abilities as they have a social structure. The main difference is what we reason about maybe?

But after the 'human' evolved into being able to eat meat the appendix became decreasingly important which is hy we no longer need it, its just it has not yet evolved 'out' of our bodies yet if you will. I love how people will just blatantly say that 'x is the best in the scene and y sucks' when they've heard of maybe 2-3 bands in this whole genre. Let's see, you probably aren't very familiar with the genre then. Have you heard of Lori Lewis, Anita Auglend, Lisa Johansen, Vibeke Stene, or Fabienne Gondamin? I'd say each of those singers is equally as impressive as Floor (who I admire). Tarja is the 'popular' favorite, but that doesn't make the genre just her and 6 other vocalists.

Depends on ur taste.. DSoprano's have a powerfull voice, texture and the colour.. Sharon's soprano is sweeter, Tarja's is more dramatic, Floor's deeper, the Myriad's girl (don;t know the name) has a thinner voice and they all are great singers.. Simone, Vibeke, Liv Kristine, etc, have another range so I find it completely senseless to be comparing them.. It's comparing oil to water.

He's 16 and he's definitely not a "Bird Licks Machine". A lot of his playing is actually based off of Phil Woods from what I've heard, the technique being a bit more modern sounding compared to Charlie Parker. He has the ability to play all the licks he knows as fast as he wants in any key he wants and so he does with much maturity.

I don't agree. Not every sax alto sax player plays like Bird. Most alto sax players are very influenced by Bird, BUT, eventually they sound is their own personnal one. Kenny Garrett doesn't play like Bird, right ? Neither does Jesse Davis, even though they were both influenced by Bird :). Yes he plays like Bird, but who doens't? Every alto sax player does it. He just does it more than others. I agree with you, he's a Parker copy, but a very good one, and he plays lick beautifully. And Jesse Davis of course is a wonderful sax player too ;)
