If you ever look up his remarks about weight, he seems to want to focus on the issues about people being overweight - which is very true since obesity is more of a problem than anorexia - but he tends to take a very dodgy view on his casting of very skinny models and harsh remarks on French women and their obesity. He's like Anna Wintour in views on obesity and fashion - they just don't mix.

I wouldn't think it's a rumor. Karl used to be fat but he lost weight supposedly because he wanted to fit into a dior suit - he even wrote a weight loss book about it so he does have a disdain for fat people.
