i was only saying by offcial debut album if you wanna get technical Jay-Z was doing it since 1989. where Jay-Z can be heard on several of Jaz-O's early recordings in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including "The Originators" and "Hawaiian Sophie"...while like your say Waynes first appeareance is 95...which is still a signicant difference....

Maybe so, but Wayne pretty much sucked until around '04. He was likeable until he turned into a feature whore. I mean, do you have to be featured on EVERYBODY'S shit before somebody believes that you can rap? Now I can't stand the sound of his voice. Not because he can't rap (time and experience improves everyone), but because he is everywhere!! Nobody is going to check for you if you're on every station all the time.

Yes Reasonable Doubt did Debut in 96'. And before then Jay was selling tape from the trunk of his car with Damon Dash. But on the other hand Wayne first appeared in 95' on B.G.'s ablum "True Story" then he later on became a part of the group The Hotboys in 97' (they released 2 albums Guerilla Warfare and Let em burn) He later went on to debut his first album in 98'. So like i said before they have been on the scene for around the same amount of time.

what an amazing song i love it so much and yes it is completely about heroin, its about the person loving taking it from the start and then gettin off it, still sometimes getting cravings to go back on it.
