Tällä elokuvan Kosti Kulalla oli muuten esikuva tosielämässä. Nimittäin edesmennyt toimittaja Kauko Kare, ankara Kekkosen ja Neuvostoliiton arvostelija. Ei missäään nimessä tuollainen natsi kuin tämä Kosti Kula eikä mitenkään rikollinen muuta kuin tietenkin silloisten kommunistien mielestä. :) Kauko Kare sai viimeisinä elinvuosinaan hieman lohtua "Eskon Puumerkki" -palkinnosta, joka hänelle myönnettiin hänen suoraselkäisestä asenteestaan politiikassa ja kulttuurissa.

Klimenko käyttää mahtavasti ääntään joka ulottuu alhaalta todella korkealle. Elokuva ei ollut kaksinen jos vertaa mustavalkoisiin Palmuihin. Elokuvan paras anti oli kohtaukset YLE:ssä jossa tarkkasilmäinen pystyy bongaamaan läjän kuuluisia TV-kasvoja.

Stallarifilmiksikin Vodkaa on haukuttu ja vieläkin sitä sellaisena syrjitään, mutta onhan tämä selvästi A-luokan kettuilua Kassilalta itänaapurille. Palmua siihen ei tosin olisi tarvinnut sekoittaa. Jonkun toisen hahmon johdolla tästä olisi saanut paljon mielekkäämmän filmin, nyt se tuntuu lähinnä ikävältä rahastukselta menestyshahmon kustannuksella.

Dieses Lied erinnert mich immer an Zeit wo ich mit meinen Eltern im Ausland (!=DACH) war. Einer der letzen Radioaufnahen die ich damals auf einen Grundig 13cm Tonband (war so ein 5 kg portable mit UKW radio) machte bevor es in den mitleren Osten ging war dieser Song. Hab ihn dann immer immer wieder (waren auch andere dabei) abspielen können. Damal nix YouTube - nur pfeifende DeutscheWelle mit kranken Program (GEZ paid in Germany) Wie auch immer - lange her.... geiler Song. A.J.

Ja, fand ich auch wahnsinnig toll, dass man hier (neben vielen anderen tollen Sachen) auch die schönen Beat-Club Auftritte der 60-er und 70-er wiedersehen konnte. Aber jetzt scheint Schluss mit lustig: die "Rechteinhaber" wie die "Studio Hamburg Distribution & Marketing GmbH" haben Youtube genötigt, die Beat-Club-Videos zu sperren.
