indie cannot be defined. the music has heaps of sub-genres (one being acoustic), but generally its easy to pick an indie rock song through the guitar style. not saying all indie songs have to have guitars either but thats the thing with indie, it's basically undefined. it started with being "individual" but when some idiot put a name on it, it's no longer ... what it was originally intended to be. this is probably an inadequate description. but it's one of those taboo kinda topics.

Technically all music is individual in that case no mater what... But Indie... it's hard to classify. Kinda like Metal in all it's sub genres. But it omes down to taste, Like i classify GnR as Glam Rock along with Velvet Revolver. My friends keep saying there hard rock, but i odnt associat them, i associate Atreyu etc with hard rock.... And for osme reason they call them Metal... So like yeah, its down to the person to choose the genre.

i think that in that year (2005-2006) was their transition from being an "indie band" to a stadium band, this song sounds to me quite honest. Nowadays I don´t really like the way he sings(sounds to me as if he´s faking his voice) or the direction they´ve taken (human for example) but in this video he sings just natural and it sounds more like a band to me.This song sounds very honest to me.They´re still good but i prefered them in 2005-2006
