i am not considering them to be similar in terms of music styles, rather i consider them to be similar in that they have gone stale compared to their older stuff. AxerJk, the Churchill High School I went to was in Pittsburgh, PA. Glad to know somebody shared the same high school name! Dokken seemed to always be stuck behind Ratt and Motley Crue as far as the LA scene goes but they didn't need the hype to get recognition that they still have today. This is by far my favorite song by them and it still sounds great today. I think 'Under Lock & Key' was Dokken's most complete album. An excellent addition to anybody's CD collection, in my opinion.
