Saw them do this at the old Chicago Stadium in Feb. 1978. The interplay between Clapton, Marcy Levy, and bassist Carl Radle was amazing. There's a live version available at the Wolfgangs Vault site, I believe from a Houston concert from the same tour. I get a kick out of going into a bar with a great jukebox and playing this one. Inevitably, someone turns around and gives me the thumbs up for playing it.

Only time I was able to see Clapton live was during the Slow Hand Tour in 1978. Went to the concert in Macon, Ga. We had driven from Atlanta and had rooms at the Holiday Inn in Macon. Went to the hotel bar after the concert and to our surprise, Clapton and the band were in the bar getting hammered. I was 20 at the time and didn't really think it was a big deal. What a dumb kid I was.

Yup, this is why Clapton is so good .. not the best player, but a damn good one who can frame the sound within the theme that is to be expressed. His solo starting at 3:53 muscially encapsulates for anyone that which is the fire that burns within anyone of us regardless of what the fire is or why it is even so. Either you can't read or you're tone deaf, this song is in Eb which makes the high note at the end a Bb. I've sung this song many times in concert and my Bb is clear and not strangled. Most educated people of opera admit Jose's upper register was a big problem, but the rest of the voice is beautiful.

Mezza voce means "half voice" instead of full voice. This requires skill, control and finesse for a tenor in the upper register without going into falsetto, and when done well is breathtaking. Pavarotti could never do it well, but a good example is Nicolai Gedda in "Je Crois" from The Pearl Fishers, check it out on youtube.

Minus the final Bb, this is wonderful. I think his natural timbre is one of the most pleasing of all tenors, it's a shame he never was able to negotiate his upper register without so much force. The irony is that he has an amazing mezza voce in head voice, which is more difficult.

There's no such thing as bull shit filler to a prequel. Crisis Core is Zack's story that Cloud borrowed. Of course the things added in Crisis Core wouldn't have been mentioned in FFVII because CC didn't follow Cloud's life. It follows Zack's. Gosh.

Can I just ask - have you played the original? Ok now I'll answer as best I can: The girl that Genesis saw was the 'Goddess' from loveless. I think he had turned slightly mad and she came alive or something (not too sure) The fact that he had escaped was the reason they were hunting him down. im waiting for the full game here in the US but i downloaded the demo with my HK account.... I cant figure out how to do a quick U-turn, like when your flying and you turn 180 degrees so your facing the opposite direction, the controls for this game are hard to master but thats what makes it fun

Lol, it's more like 13. They "usually" only number the next Armored Core game if it is on a new console or the game play drastically changes. I like to think of the none-numbered ones as expansion packs.

Indeed. You can get a good overclock out of a 920 on air (though I would suggest a big fan/heatsink). I think the ASUS Rampage II Extreme will overclock your CPU to a 940 or extreme for you without messing with the stuff he was talking about. Then again, if you are going to spend $400 on a board, get a WC setup and crank the CPU to atleast 3.6.
