I don't have anything against progressive music, where did you get that idea? Colour Haze are just not Kraut. They may have some Kraut flavors, but they write simple, epic rock songs. If you pay close attention, each jam is 100% Organic. Each one is built from the ground up, and a simple solitary riff is built up to epic proportions. If you want to hear REAL Space Rock, listen to GONG's album 'YOU'.

yeah gong are cool, flying teapot is a classic song. what do you have against prog anyway? a lot of it is shite but that's true with every genre. king crimson are a great example of quality prog rock. i don't get these guys, maybe i should do a few bong hits.

Some People seem to disagre but there are big similarities to Kyuss. No surprise! The Band CLAIMS to be influenced by Kyuss. Id say the songwriting of CH is far more complex. Anyway, Kyuss released their last Album 1995 and Colourd Haze released nine Albums since 1993. That makes aboute one dozend outstanding good records. Im looking forward for the next 15 years. Outstanding good music!

Although the guitar sound is very similar, i think that the attitude is different like cowboys vs hippies. Might be something to do with the subject matter in the lyrics and stefan has a slight vocal style.
