Personally I do believe most good guitar players can play andy mckee songs, but the part that makes their emulations different is the feelings that andy puts into his work, which in its own way is a talent, being able to put into music how you feel... anyone can copy but not everyone can create

No, I'm sorry you're wrong. Innate talent also makes a person learn more quickly and achieve greatness at anything. Obviously you have to be interested in what your studying no matter what, or you won't do it! Likewise, you can be completely obsessed with something and not become amazing at it after a lifetime of practice. How else can you explain child prodigies? I bought his four albums, and I'm really disappointed with the quality... the quality is so much better in these videos it makes me frustrated. The album version of ebon coast isn't anywhere near as good as this video version. It's frustrating.

I remember renting this movie with the movie "Tucker" in the late 80's. This film came out in '86 and I think it was a good movie for the times even now. I liked the opening theme music to this film. I liked River Phoenix. Is there a soundtrack to this movie by chance? I saw this movie again recently for like the 8th time in my life. It makes me think a lot. Probably a few reasons. They may have wanted to get the kids to EMS ASAP to treat for hypothermia. The cabin of the HH65C is pretty small. Limited space depending on how many crew and how much gear they brought. Lastly, depending on wind direction and speed, air temp and fuel load they may have had power concerns. The pilots, swimmer, and flight mech discuss it all before they begin the evolution and come up with the best plan for the current situation.

I have flown on many missions with the CG as a flight mechanic. You raise a good ?. The Dolphin is a small helicopter compared to others, but they should have been able to fit them inside. The only thing I can think of is they did not want to leave the kids unattended inside the helo. Regardless of the reason, I know the crew talked about the pros and cons of their decision beforehand.

Incredible. Absolutely freakin incredible, tremendous rescue. These guys are the pride of America. do they do it for the money? Hardly. I've never seen a member of the Coast Guard getting rich (in money) doing their jobs. We should double the salary of every one of these guys. They should get so much per rescue.
