I can but its not real drifting. Yes the pros use the hand break SOME TIMES but the only way to get a fwd sideways would to be pulling up the e-brake a lot. And even if you did get sideways it would be very hard to stay in control with out loosing it there for civic really cant drift.

Actually, when it comes to performance, the Chevy Cobalt SS performed better than several foreign cars including the Honda Civic Si (in an automotive magazine's test). The Cobalt SS is cheaper too. But when it comes to looks and interior, it sucks, and I would much rather have a civic. I'd rather have a Corvette above all else though. Best of both worlds. 0-60 in 4.2 seconds but the potential for up to 32 mpg highway.

In keeping with what some have been saying. Even with its torque numbers, it doesn't by any means feel "slow" off the line if you can drive stick. The motor revs smoothly and quite fast and once you hit that 5800 rpm and vtec kicks in, its awesome! Love the exhaust note!

honda or not i personally don't think any NA four bangers torque specs are that impressive. and yes, i agree that hp alone doesn't make a car fast, gear ratios and weight have a big determining factor also. i do think that hp is the most valuable though and without it you'd go nowhere. what every new car needs is a power to weight ratio spec, that'd be awesome.

And it's not that impressive really. numbers at time can be very misleading. the car is lazy off the line in normal driving, but they won't tell you that. sounds lame, but the 190hp v8 in the old crown victoria picks up and moves that 2ton car with absolutely no effort. put this 200hp 2.0 in a crown vic and it probably coudn't move it. Honda's have no torque in small engines that's why the RDX has a 2.3 turbo and Honda minis have v6's

That is when the front wheel goes out of control and wobbles rapidly from side to side (the handlebars look like they are slapping the sides of the fuel tank,hence the name) Very difficult to regain control and nearly always ends badly as the only way to stop it is to actually accelerate as hard as you can but when your front wheel is flopping around, going faster is hard when your brain is screaming "slow down, slow down!!!" and its very hard to twist the throttle when its shaking like mad.
