You mean on German TV? Yeah, it's very rare that a show or a film is subtitled on German TV. The audience just doesn't accept stuff with subtitles (only as an exception). If you want foreign films/shows to be successful in Germany there's no way around dubbing. For LB two well-known German comedians did the job - so it's pretty funny in German, too. I guess it's better with subtitles if you want to learn English... ^^ P.S. I have to go get myself a cup of coffee after watching your vid!

i think they mean they are good, as well as him, but the goodness is subtle. On the one hand, andy is good at tunes, while other parties may or may not be good at other aspects of life. The Goodness can transcend the tangible, and can cross into the metaphysical as well, like the soul or something. And who really knows what is good anyway, who's drawing these lines that separate the good from the bad? Uh, i hope this helps.

Then you should have said that. But whatever. You are right that I think MH is better than AM, but then again, never would have heard of AM had it not been for MH. And I have listened to a lot of his stuff and words cant express how I wish I could play as well as him, but this isnt really music that speaks to me. I don't think he has the diversity and creativity and just plain "like it" vs "love it" that you find in a MH or Jimi Hendrix, or Jimmy Page even. Just my opinion.

Wow, I really enjoyed creating the stir. After all thats why this forum is here. Andy is just a guy trying to express himself, so I really didn't mean to cut on Andy. He is certainly better than I will ever be. But I respectfully disagree, you can compare MH and AM, have listened to a lot of this stuff and the influence is clear. No need to get offeneded by that, we were all influenced by somebody and all get compared to others. Thats they way it is, and the way it should be.

Nothing is wrong with remixes. It's who is doing the remixing =P. I have some beethoven remixes that are great lol. Just because rap and hip hop remix songs does not make it bad. They also use flutes and aboriginal instruments in songs, those are definitely entrancing; when played with passion!

You cannot properly compare guitarists like this. In my opinion, every great guitarist is great for specific reasons. Sure, some guitarists may be faster than Andy or they may have a style you like better. All in all, if you had a room full of famous guitarists, how can you really say one is better than the other? It comes down to what you lke hearing. Am i right to say that steel strings are better than nylon? No. You cannot define these types of things.

In 1991 my guitar teacher who was producing my pop album introduced me to him and another amazing bass player named Steve Bailey. They both ended up doing a few tracks each for us. He still lives here in the SFV in LA county and is currently playing a Tom Jones gig and recently released his project called Hemispheres. If you ever visit the LA area you should check out the Baked Potato in North Hollywood. Virgil, Simon Phillips, Bozzio, etc et all play there. small place that holds 75 people!
